New Boston Volleyball Club Covid 19 Protocol
2020/2021
New Boston Volleyball Club athletes and families, our staff and coaches are taking the health and safety of our athletes seriously. Please note that the actions below are a high-level overview of the full efforts we are taking to operate our facilities safely.
* Hygiene and social distancing reminder signage in the facility.
* Head count limits to avoid unnecessary bodies in the facility.
* No spectators will be allowed during tryouts and/or practices.
* Regular cleaning of frequently contacted areas.
* Hand washing, proper hydration and social distancing encouraged wherever possible. Drinking fountain ONLY to fill bottles. Everyone entering the facility MUST wear a mask at all times and follow all safety protocols. COVID-19 Protocol for Athletes
* Daily self-check. Athletes participating at a New Boston Volleyball Club facility for
practices, training, or other events, will acknowledge and agree to these
guidelines, by their action of their entry into our facility. This includes a
self-check of their signs and symptons of COVID-19.
* Check-In Protocol – Temperature will be taken with infrared thermometer upon
arrival. Denial of entrance if temperature is 100.4 or above. Athletes will scan a
QR code with their phone and answer appropriate questions.
* Physical and Social Distancing when not training including water breaks.
* Personal Protective Equipment, such as masks, is mandatory for athletes, coaches,
or any person inside the facility. Athletes will wear PPE at ALL TIMES when
arriving and leaving the facility.
* Hand washing and/or sanitizing upon entry to the facility is required.
COVID-19 Protocol for Staff and Coaches
* Daily Self-Check. Check-in Protocol – Staff and Coaches will be asked a series of
health questions and if the answer is ‘yes’ to any of the questions, the individual
will not be permitted into the facility(unless where noted).
* Physical and Social Distancing.
* Personal Protective Equipment, such as masks, are required for coaches and staff
until further notice.
* Temperature will be taken with infrared thermometer upon arrival. Denial of
entrance if temperature is 100.4 or above.
* Hand washing or sanitizing upon entry to the facility is required.
We reserve the right to ask anyone in the facility to leave if they jeopardize the health or safety of others.
